ABOUT THE CLIENT COMPANY

The Client is a leader in Russian refractory market. The company has 18 plants in 16 countries with about 2 500 employees and HQ in France.


TASK DESCRIPTION

The Client had to renew and strengthen the team because of the changes in top management and new strategic vision of the company. It was essential to establish effective communication with the newcomers as well as with top management that mostly participated in assessment process remotely, from HQ in France. Due to his tasks General Director was away for business trip most of the time. The communication was held fully in English. Requirements for personnel were high regarding candidate`s professional competence and personal qualities as well as job experience.
 

PROJECT EXECUTION

Step 1. A detailed consideration of candidates` competence was held with General Director of the company.
 Competence discussed:

  • Job requirements
  • Job functions
  • Successful candidates` profile (personal qualities and job experience)
  •  Compensation (a shortcut of salary level in every position was prepared).

Step 2. After confirming agreement the first pool of candidates was formed (3-4 CV for every position).

  • Each candidate from the pool had an interview with General Director
  • Upon the results of the interview another Skype-interview with top management in France was organized
  •  In addition «finalists» passed special test and carried out their own project tasks under certain requirement specification

PRACTICAL RESULTS FOR THE CLIENT

  • Vacancies filled in 2015 (100% of requests):
o   Personal Assistant

o   Business and Finance Controller
o   Technical Director

  • All the vacancies were filled swiftly, by the moment all the employers have passed probation period successfully and keep on working for the company.
