Service company: how HR-audit helped with financial risks detection and minimising

ABOUT THE CLIENT COMPANY

The Client is a Russian branch of a foreign company that provides marketing, information and technical support of the world biggest producer and developer of printing equipment.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
The Client required the following tasks to be accomplished:

  • Reveal existing problems in HR Filing regarding payroll, its terms as well as vacation allowance. It was important to improve communication between HR and Accounting Department and find possibilities for optimization.
  • Eliminate risks of HR filing under changing labor law conditions that means filling gaps in LNA and labor agreements, improve the quality of the documents and avoid mistakes by changing LNA and signing supplement agreements with employees.

 

PROJECT EXECUTION

Step 1. LNA Audit  

  • Internal work regulations, Personal data regulations and Compensation regulations were analyzed to check if they correspond to the current Russian labor law.

Step 2. Random inspection – HR-filing Audit.


PRACTICAL RESULTS FOR THE CLIENT

  • Elimination of controversial situations in payroll by changing some of the Client`s business processes.
  • Actualization of LNA in accordance with the requirements of current Labor law.
  • Working out of the new version of the labor agreement that includes actual Labor law requirements.
  • Elaboration of a structured and systemized report on the audit results.
  • Detection of financial risks from passing public authorities’ inspection and minimization of the number of such inspections by avoiding labor disputes with employees due to optimized procedures.
