The Ninth Annual HR Conference titled “HR Flexibility in the Changing Environment”, organized by the AEB, took place in Moscow on May 17th, 2012 at the Marriott Grand Hotel Moscow.
This conference focused on HR efficiency and flexibility, HR issues in mergers and acquisitions, expansion in the regions and other aspects of personnel management in Russia. CEOs of major companies have been invited to share their views on the role of the HR departments in their respective companies, the HR challenges in Russia and the way companies adapt their global strategies to the local market.

The AEB Annual General Meeting 2012 took place on April 19th, 2012. Traditionally, new members of the AEB Board and Committees Chairmen are announced here. According to the elections results, Olga Bantsekina has become the Board member.

Information: Olga has been the Deputy Chairman of the Human Resources committee of the Association of European Businesses (AEB HR committee) for over 5 years and the Chairman of the AEB Recruitment sub-committee. In 2010, she was elected the Chairman of the AEB HR committee.

On the 15th of April Elena Novoselova, the head of Coleman Services St.Petersburg, was elected as the chairman of the HR & Migration Sub-Committee of the Association of European Businesses North-West.

On the 30th of March Coleman Services internal conference devoted to the results of the 2011, took place in Sadovoe ring hotel. Traditionally the conference gathers up Moscow office employees and heads of regional offices, this year the all over the Russia: from St.Petersburg to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, parallel online web broadcasting was organized for regional employees.
The agenda consisted of two parts: the official -divisions’ report presentations and nonofficial - awarding of the best staff and festive cocktails to celebrate good 2011 results and Coleman Services 14th birthday.

On 27th of January 2012 in Moscow was held a white tie affair (a festive event) devoted to the 10th anniversary of Unilever and Coleman Services successful cooperation.
The first project dated to December 2001 stated on Unilever Moscow production site. Coleman Services became the provider in general staffing (industrial personnel), temporary staffing, shift-man managing, as a result more than 120 employees were engaged into the project.

More than 3 years Coleman Services cooperates with a Regional public charity foundation for critical care and deprived children. For the past time it managed to help children to retrieve!
In December of 2011 Coleman Services was presented the grateful letter for longstanding participation in the Foundation activities and help to the small patients of the Russian children's clinical hospital.

The Second North-West large corporate business Forum “TOP-250” took place in Saint-Petersburg on 25th of October. The event was organized by “Expert North-West” magazine with the active support of partner companies: Megafon, Coleman Services, National Factoring company, VTB Bank, Transneft and others.
Participants discussed investments prospects and industrial development of the North-West region, exchanged their views on possible private-public partnership forms on panel discussions.

Media company Rabota.ru organized Obninsk Job fair on 25th of October. This event was supported by media and Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation in the Kaluga Region.
Coleman Services took part in Job fair as an employer. Format of the event allows people to get all the necessary information about vacancies and to register to job interview. Job fair is an excellent possibility to start career in western companies.

“The Sixth Annual Meeting with the Labour Inspection. Issues of Practical Implementation” had been held by Association of European Business and Coleman Services.
The main topics of the event: “Disputes over employee payments”, “Decree leave”, “Trade union organization” and etc.

Annual Recruiter’s Day, organised by the AEB HR committee, opens traditional HR business season for the seventh year running. The event had been held in Moscow on October 11th, 2011, at the Hotel Ararat Park Hyatt in the form of a business breakfast

The event’s main topic was “Return of the war for talent”. The topics were covered by Natalia Shcherbak, Ferrero, Irina Denisiuk, Deloitte, Natalia Baturina, Bacardi; Sergey Gadetsky, ANCOR.

On the 30th of September in Moscow the gala event devoted to 10 years of successful cooperation with Total took place. The history of successful partnership began in 2001 with Coleman Services HR administration of several drivers. For today their quantity has grown in more than ten times.
For the last years a lot of interesting and difficult projects were realized, taken in consideration of high quality requirements of Total both to employees, and to partners. The success of these projects was encouraged by understanding and harmonious work of Total and Coleman Services commands.

On September, 23rd, 2011 took place the special session of MGIMO HR-Council. The Council consists of representatives of famous international & Russian companies such as White&Case, Ernst&Young, Coleman Services, Coca-Cola, FutureToday.ru and others. At the meeting the questions of cooperation forms and the ways of overcoming of job searching problems which students face in their life and many other important themes.

On May, 20th, 2010 the 1-st open meeting of the AEB North-Western regional committee on the theme “European Business in the North-Western region: post crisis development took place. At a meeting were Deputy head of EU Delegation in Russia, Michael Webb, Vice-governor of St.-Petersburg, Mikhail Oseevsky with the presentation « Economic outlook from Government perspective » and representatives of Russian and foreign companies. From Coleman Services the event were visited by Elena Novoselova, director of St.-Petersburg office and Vera Kozlova, the sales manager.

On May, 19th, 2010 the 7-th annual conference « Smarter HR for the Recovery », organized by Association of the European Businesses took place. The Conference traditionally is in May and it is one of the most significant events of the HR market. The event attracts more than 200 professionals - HR directors and managers of many European and multinational companies, representatives of the consulting companies and recruitment agencies.

On the 16th 2010 of March the 5-th International HR Forum took place in Saint-Petersburg. Coleman Services sales manager Vera Kozlova visited the event, in the frames of the Forum key topics include:

The second meeting of AEB Member companies in Saint-Petersburg took place on the 11th of February 2010. The meeting was dedicated to the AEB office development in the North-West region. Elena Novoselova, Coleman Services office Director in Saint-Petersburg and Vera Kozlova, sale manager took part in the event. The following questions were discussed in the frames of the meeting:
• The AEB regional strategy: past review and potential for further growth in the North-West of Russia
• Practical experience and current needs of the AEB member companies in and Leningrad Oblast

On the 11th of February 2010 the Compensation and Benefits Sub-Committee hosted a round-table event. The purpose of the round-table session is to discuss and explore different strategies for shaping reward packages for the recovery. 27th of January AEB HR Event “How to manage HR out of the crisis” took part. The meeting was moderated by Olga Bantsekina, Chairman of the AEB Recruitment Sub-Committee, Chief Representative Coleman Services UK, during the session the representatives of international and recruiting companies discussed the most actual questions of HR market:
• Labour market overview: current trends and tendencies
• Managing consumer business in the downturn
• 2009-2010: Tendencies of Russian candidates market

Coleman Services toot part in the city campaign «Moscow Day of employment» which was held on November, 27-28th, 2009 in the Manezh. The campaign was aimed to provide inhabitants of capital with the wide job possibilities.
15 Departments and Committees of the Moscow Government, 150 largest Moscow employers and a number of recruitment agencies took part in the event with the expositions and a list of vacancies.
